Through time there have been a lot of member of the Eastern Star that we famous in history. 

Caroline Ingalls: Mother of Laura Ingalls Wilder, author of Little House on the Prairie

Carrie Ingalls Swanzey: The third child of Charles and Caroline Ingalls and sister to Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Laura Ingalls Wilder: American author of the Little House series of children's books based on her childhood.

Clara Barton: American teacher, nurse, and humanitarian. She has been described as having a "strong and independent spirit" and is best remembered for organizing the American Red Cross.

Eleanor Roosevelt: First Lady of the United States from 1933 to 1945, wife of late Mason President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Appointed delegate to the UN General Assembly from 1945 and 1952.

Martha Griffiths: American lawyer and judge elected to the House of Representatives in 1954. She was also most responsible for including the prohibition of sex discrimination under Title VII in the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Everett Dirksen: Republican U.S. Congressman and Senator from Pekin, Illinois.  Elected senate minority leader in 1959.

Ruth Ann Minner: Delaware's first female governor and the longest serving female governor in American history.

Harry Truman: 33rd President of the United States (1945–1953). As the 34th vice president, he succeeded Franklin D. Roosevelt, who died less than three months after he began his fourth term.
